School Time is Coming

We have heard the Game of Thrones warning of a coming winter. As Summer continues to heat things up, many parents and educators recognize the fast approaching 22-23 school year that is upon us.

With a new school year approaching in just a few days, (Bibb County Public Schools August 3rd), parents are resolutely searching for the supplies that their children need to be successful. There are a few more supply giveaways from community members wanting to help families prepare for the school year. Beginning on Friday, July 29th Macon volunteers and supporters will provide more opportunities for families to connect to community resources, information, and supplies. Check out the schedule below!

Mentors Project and Just Children School Supplies Giveaway Friday, July 29: 8 a.m. at Ballard-Hudson Middle School, Southfield Elementary School and Miller Magnet Middle School

Back-to-School Event Saturday, July 30: 9:15 a.m.-2 p.m. at Southfield Elementary School

Raiderfest (for Northeast-zoned schools) Saturday, July 30: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Northeast High School

WellCare & Partners Back to School Event Saturday, July 30: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Buck Melton Community Center, 150 Sessions Drive
